Nelson Livestock Company Heart of the Herd Female Reduction Sale was held Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Ranch near Wibaux, MT. The calendar indicated it was October but Mother Nature had the chill of winter in the air with strong north winds rolling through the Wibaux country side. Despite the wind chill, buyers sorted through a sound functional set of females that comprised the heart of the Nelson herd. The buying crowd was impressed with the quality and this set of females will hold their own in the beef industry for many years to come.
