The Minnesota Simmental Association held their annual meeting, banquet, fund raiser and state sale on Friday March 27, & Saturday March 28, 2009 in Rochester, MN. This is the 36th annual event for MSA and was very well attended by breeders from MN, Iowa and Wisconsin. The honorable traveling bell for outstanding service was award to Vicky Wilking and family as well as Outstanding Sr Award presented by MJSA to Bruce and Beth Andersland. The 2009 MN State Simmental Queen is Andrea Diehn and Laura Mulert will reign as MSA Princess. A well attended sale found cattle selling into states from GA to Canada.
