Special Trucking Guarantee:
Trucking no more than $275 per lot to central U.S. locations when arranged by the sale manager. Every effort will be made by the sale staff and consignors to arrange other economical and reliable trucking as needed.

General Information:
Internet: The 2008 Southern Showcase Sale may be viewed live online via the EDJECAST System. See page 23 for more details on how to view the sale online and bid online if you so choose.
Buyer Incentives: A drawing for cash incentives will be conducted for buyers in attendance at the conclusion of the sale. For more details, see page 24.
Health: A veterinarian will be available sale day to write interstate health papers at no cost to the buyer. An update sale sheet will also be available sale day listing information not available at catalog press time.
Trucking: Trucking will be no more than $275 per lot to central US locations when arranged by sale management.
Lot Numbers: Ear tags on cattle correspond to the lot numbers in the catalog.
Terms and Conditions: The cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions recommended by the respective breed organizations. Payment must be made in full in the form of cash or good check on sale day, US dollars only.
Food: Lunch will be available at the sale site.
Absentee Bids: The sale manager or any member of the sale staff will be happy to assist you with your purchases. There will be no charge to you for this service and every effort will be made to insure your total satisfaction with your purchases.
Livestock Insurance: Livestock mortality insurance will be available for your purchases at the clerk’s desk and is required on all cattle when the sale staff arranges trucking.
EPD’s: EPD’s listed are the most current available at the time of catalog production.
Liability: Everyone attends the sale at his or her own risk. The sale manager, auctioneer, consignors, and Calhoun Stockyards assume no liability whatsoever as to risk or personal injury. Cattle are the liability of the buyer when the auctioneer says “Sold”. Every effort will be made by the sale crew to insure safe handling of the cattle through the sale and loadout process.
Directions To The Sale Site: From I-75 go towards Rome, GA on Highway 53 about 6 miles. Calhoun Stockyards is on the left. From Rome, Georgia, go towards Calhoun, GA on Highway 53. Calhoun Stockyards is on the right about 4 miles past the intersection of Highway 140 and Highway 53.
