The Top Shelf Sale was held on Friday evening September 19,
2008 at the Double S Sale Facility near Fountain Run, KY.
This sale was designed to meet the commercial cattlemen need
in the area for good Sim-influenced genetics of bred females
and herd bull prospects. A large number of the fall calving
females and bulls did go back into commercial cattle
operations to improve their genetic base. This concludes the
involvement of Double S Simmental and we wish to thank
Steve, Leisa and the entire Shirley family for the many
years of hospitality. Wishing you the best in your new
venture.
