Since that time, she has continued to prove herself. Most recently, a daughter of Nasty Girl topped the National Sale in Kansas City for her former owners, JS Simmentals, for $32,000. We are excited about this mating to the popular Limestone and Express Ranches purebred Angus sire BC 7022 Raven 7965.

Proven cow families are extremely important when selecting genetics to add to your herd. However, there will be a chosen few that start a new chapter on greatness. Rockin Robin has proven that she has what it takes to be a donor. Her first natural calf, LLSF Tango T194, sold as a bred in the 2008 Louisville sale for $10,000 to Bill Fulton (NE). Her second natural calf was retained in our herd for our show string and was high point Simmental heifer in the 2009 Missouri Cattlemens Point system. Every once in a while, a cow comes along that just seems to be destined for great things. For us, 5635 just seems to be one of those can’t-miss cows! When bred to a Maine bull, she produced a $26,000 heifer calf that was named Supreme Champion at the Oklahoma Beef Expo. This mating to Macho produced Beyond Belief, a female who in her show career was named Champion Percentage Female at the National Western Junior Show, Supreme Champion Female at the Illinois State Fair, Reserve Champion Percentage Female at the AJSA National Classic and was also a many-time Supreme Champion and Breed Champion on the Midwest show circuit for the Bloomberg Family (IL). These embryos were collected by Dr. Scott Anderson of Double Diamond Genetics.
