• Our program at Hudson Pines Farm is first and foremost built around the influence and power of cow families. When we purchased CNS Perfection R521, we knew that her proven pedigree and ideal structure would keep our program moving forward. It is Drama’s flawless phenotype that Herman Purdy, John Dawes, and Dr. Robert Hough noticed when they selected Drama’s picture to use as the representation of the Simmental breed in their book, “Breeds of Cattle, 2nd Edition.” As a four-year-old cow, R521 has lived up to our expectations by keeping herself together with volume, capacity and structure. Better still, she has proved herself and the strength of her genetic background by consistently raising the kind of calves that fit the market. So far Hudson Pines has sold four heifers and a flush that have averaged out at $11,600 per sale. Dustin Sasser, Dorsey Farms, Pine Ridge, Rew Ranch, Triple C, and the Gooden/Surewood operations have already taken advantage of these few opportunities to get genetics from this elite female. The four calves offered in this year’s sale further demonstrate Drama’s predictability, as they are consistent in their makeup and functional in their kind. We are sure that they will be crowd favorites on sale day. Hudson Pines invites you to partner with us on this exceptional female that is just beginning to enter the prime of her life. • R521 has averaged 13.5 good embryos on four flushes and is currently open and ready to go. • Selling one-half interest and no possession.

• Owned with Triple C Farms of Wisconsin, this beautiful Perfection daughter has an unlimited amount of potential. Both farms had high hopes for this female and her future as a donor to build our programs around, but due to the unfortunate passing of Peter Courtney and the dispersal of Triple C Farms, this young donor must be offered for sale. T806 is built as solidly as you could draw one. She is attractive through her front third, neat in her shoulder, deep sided, good uddered, and well balanced throughout. Set her in motion and she only becomes more appealing. If you’re looking for a young, moderate framed, good pedigreed donor that can be a cornerstone for your program, you need to own this female. • Bred AI to Westfall Voyager on 6-5-09.

• These two full sisters by our new herd sire, STF Dominance T171, are exactly what we expected from him. Both females are fluid in their movement, good footed, big bodied, and have attractive profiles. Backed by the reliability of the “Perfection” cow family, it is certain that even better days lie ahead for these females. W901 has already started her show career off with a bang by being named Reserve Calf Champion at the 2009 Simmental Breeders Sweepstakes this summer. W606, like her older sister, will have plenty of banner days in her future as well. Study these two closely and you will see that they have the potential to impact the Simmental breed in a big way. • Hudson Pines would like the opportunity to exhibit these female at the 2009 NAILE.

• This March baby has been a favorite of the HPF crew since day one. She is a prime example of what powerful and predictable cow families can do for a program. With Perfection and K107W on the bottom side, going back to 58H and 47C on the top side, W052 is a very intriguing breeding piece with the look to back it up. • Hudson Pines would like the opportunity to exhibit this female at the 2009 NAILE.
